Since research is so critical to medicine overall, it is good for premeds to get early exposure to research. One great way to get more involved in research and boost your CV is by doing a summer research program. Although some of these research programs are more suited for those who are interested in pursuing PhD’s, they are also extremely beneficial for premeds especially those who interested in MD/PhD.
