Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania is seeking experienced equestrians at two of our summer camps. The Camp locations are: Camp Redwing near Butler, PA and Camp Skymeadow near Avonmore, PA. Available Positions:
Horseback Riding Director
Assistant Horseback Riding Director
Horseback Riding Instructors
Positions require the following:
· Proper clearances
· Minimum age requirement is 18
· Commitment of June 10- August 15

Pay: $8.80/hour
Shifts: 8:45AM to 1:15PM (Mon. - Fri.) or 8:45AM to 5:15PM (Mon. - Fri.)

Stipend: Range from $200 - $230 a week. An additional $10 per week is paid to the Lifeguard, Kitchen Steward, Dining Hall Manager, Health Manager and summer Secretary. In addition, AmeriCorps Education Awards of $2,775 may be earned by eligible full-summer staff or $1,468 for eligible half-summer staff.

The Watson Institute
The Watson Institute, a regional provider for special education and wraparound services, seeks individuals to work in it summer camp programs for children and teens who have autism. WISP (Watson Inclusive Summer Camp) is an eight week program. Temporary summer position are currently available. Ongoing regular full and part time positions may be available in our wraparound *BHRS) department beyond summer camp employment.
- Direct Care Worker: Work with 1-2 children with autism, or multiple teen diagnosed with autism, implanting treatment plans in inclusive camp setting, or at the STAT and ACCLAIM programs. REQUIREMENTS***
- Assistant Direct Care Worker: Responsible for supervising children or teens with autism in inclusive settings, or at the STAT and ACCLAIM programs. REQUIREMENTS***
- Camp Site Supervisor: Oversees the implementation of treatment plans for children and teens with autism receiving intensive intervention in inclusive settings, or at the STAT and ACCLAIM programs. REQUIREMENTS***
- Special Education Teacher: Requirements for a teacher is a PA certification in special education. Experience with working with children with special needs preferred.
- Aide: Experience working with children with special needs preferred. Requirements for an aide is a high school diploma.
